This is the story of John Farah, a Palestinian who grew up in Jerusalem, Israel during turbulent times, then left in the Sixties to find a better life in America, winding up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, through a twist of fate.
BIO
“Dentistry chose me.”
In 1980, Dr. Farah founded Farah and Associates (presently Enspire Dental) to provide personal and exceptional dentistry.
In 1984 Dr. Farah launched The Dental Advisor, a publication to guide dentists in the use of the latest products and materials at their dental practices. He was an early practitioner of Cosmetic Dentistry and lectured about it worldwide for over 25 years. In 2006, he launched Apex Milling & Printing, an industry leader in CAD/CAM and digital dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, John has many interests which includes photography, writing, gardening, snowboarding, sailing, fitness and running. He has completed 137 marathons and over 400 road races in a 40-year running career.
More years ago than he’d care to admit, Dr. Farah earned his D.D.S. and a joint Ph.D. in Aerospace and Biomaterials Engineering from the University of Michigan.
